Practical information to participate to a retreat at the Center

For all retreats longer than 1 day, registration is mandatory, by email at sacredfalls.meditation@gmail.com or through the website

Accommodation and meals are provided by the Center (breakfast, lunch and evening snack)

Fees for accommodation and meals: $50.00 a day

  • Accommodation in yurts, camping style

  • One bedsheet, blanket and pillowcase are provided, please bring your sleeping bag or a second bedsheet

What to bring:

  • Enough comfortable, modest, non-binding clothing for the duration of your stay.Warm clothing will be necessary for mornings and evenings. Bathing and laundry may be done only in the break periods and not during meditation hours.

  • Sleeping bag and/or blanket

  • a small blanket for meditation, and your personal meditation equipment if you need it (regular meditation cushions (zafu) are provided by the Center)

  • Comfortable shoes that are easy to put on and remove

  • umbrella or poncho for rain

  • Mosquito repellent (or even individual mosquito net for meditation in the forest)

  • Reusable water bottle

  • Clock and flashlight

  • Any special food item(s) you may need

  • Your medication if any

If unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Places are limited. Your withdrawal may allow somebody else to participate. Thank you.

In accordance with the Buddhist tradition, the teachings are free (but we remind you that Sacred Falls Meditation Center is a community-based non-profit organization supported by generous monetary donations, and thus all financial contributions are welcome and will contribute to the development of the Center and to make these teachings available to all).
